Day 91: Corn Roast At Toronto’s St Lawrence Market

by Thomas Cook on July 28, 2010

On August 7th Toronto’s own St. Lawrence Market is offering complimentary, fresh-roasted local Ontario corn. Corn is in season in Ontario, and the St. Lawrence Market celebrates this event every year with its annual Corn Roast.

Come and celebrate local food in season at Toronto's St. Lawrence Market.

The market is also holding a sweepstakes, where every 20$ purchase at the St. Lawrence Market gets you a ticket in a draw for a $200 St. Lawrence Market Gift Certificate.

While you’re there, visit the vendors who make the St. Lawrence Farmer’s market a worthwhile way to spend a Saturday afternoon, selling vegetables, sea food, organic products, meat, gourmet coffee and teas, flowers, clothing, cheese and baked goods.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the South Market.
