The Drake hotel has been an institution in Toronto since it opened as Small’s Hotel in 1890, renamed the Drake later just before the 1950s. The Drake is also home to Executive Chef Anthony Rose, a prominent Toronto chef known for his love of artisanal Ontario produce.
This Saturday, August 14th from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. the hotel is offering the community pancakes and a live performance in the downstairs music bar called the Underground, where kids can enjoy their pancakes and see a live concert by Leah Salomaa and receive limited edition colouring books.
Guests can jazz up their buttermilk pancakes with a plethora of accoutrements like berries, whipped cream and chocolate chips, and the event is completely free.
